So, uhm, hi again?

Have I mentioned my Druid(alienea) and Shaman(She was Shaniana but now she’s Ielia on a RP realm) are both 85? No?

…Now I have.

I’ve been playing WoW.

I’ve been having fun!

Those Thrall Quests? My druid gets near them and “OMG LAG AHHH” it goes down to one frame per MINUTE. My shaman breezed through them.

I’ve got a 65 priest now.

And a 21 pally.

…So my dreams of getting an 85 of all healing classes are that much closer to completion.

I stopped running heroics on my druid a while ago. She has a standing invite to a guild that she could raid with.

My shaman is looking for a rp/raiding guild (If you’re on Wyrmrest Accord with a strange raiding schedule and you Rp, send her a mail. Ielia, the draenei shaman.)

My priest is ..well, leveling.

My paladin is actually a tank because my cousin is playing wow and leveling with a healer spec, so she needs a tank.

Oh, I’ve also got a goblin. I roleplay on her, she’s a warrior, and it is because of her I RealID broadcasted “I’m 4 feet tall, and I have a shield. POINT ME AT THE GIGANTIC MONSTERS!”

Well I have lots of alts.

I deleted Eagleb. I …well, she wasn’t getting used, and I didn’t need her that much.

Oh, I also have a 73 DK named Balrial on WA.

I’m alive.

I’ve just not been blogging.

/signs off until next time I feel like posting something.

Catacylsm beta is supposedly… Soon™. Woooo I really hope I get in. -racks bruised brain for ideas- garble! UH… so hey, druids get some pretty cool quests with their bear, aquatic, and epic flight forms. Bear, we get a mini-one-way-only mage (Teleport:Moonglade). We also get to visit a bear spirit. That’s got to be one of the cooler quests for classes in WoW.The Shaman sidequests are also really cool, and I’ll probably do a write-up on them. BUT. Back to bear quest. We’re sent to and from quite a bit, but we also get to talk to a BEAR SPIRIT and have it tell us about strength and courage, and how bear form embodies strength, etc.

For the aquatic form, you have to gather flower-baubles from the lake and trek all the way down to WESTFALL to get a special half-a-pendant. Back in the days before this quest was no longer something you had to do and there was no boat to Stormwind (But I’ll still recommend doing it) you had to get to Ironforge and Stormwind by going through Menethil Harbor, running through the level 20-30 mobs to Ironforge, taking the tram to Stormwind, and then running to Westfall. You really needed an hour of your life set aside to do it. But it was crazy-fun to do. Of course, after you’d run your butt off, if you hadn’t grabbed the half-pendant from Darkshore you’d be facepalming. Luckily, I remembered. Fun times, really.

And ahhhhh, Epic Flight form quest, how I hate and love thee. It was… mildly annoying at first. “Go pick flowers” “Go get this moonstone” ‘EEEHEHEH GOBLIN STEAL MOONSTONE YOU FOLLOW AND GET BLOWN UP!’ Although… the goblin chase through Azshara was fun. “Go kill all the enslaved bird spirits.” Although that was after “Go to this tauren in Nagrand and tame a bird for her to carry messages”. Then I FINALLY got to kill the Raven Lord, Anzu. Oh yeah, I also had to mess around in the barrows. It was a freakishly long, love/hate quest chain. But dang, it was full of lore and I had fun with it.

Please to keep in mind that these are exaggerated opinions, brought on by a concussion.

Hello again

mm-hmm. My computer hates secure connections. Welcome back from the holidays with a HoR run-through.

You enter the unhallowed halls and a chill runs down your spine… the chill…. of much text. I won’t spoil it for you, but after a few times it gets boring and a bit ho-hum, get on with it. Eventually the Lich King will come down the hallway and speak… MORE. At this point you begin to wonder if anything will ever become attackable. However, those fears soon go away as the Lich King calls in his two companions…. Falric and Marwyn!

This will begin a fight like in the Violet Hold. After 5 waves of ghosts, with 3-4 ghosts to a wave, Falric will engage. This will be a lot easier if you have someone who can dispell magic in your group. If you don’t, expect a death or two but work very hard to prevent that. There will be fears, magic DoTs, and lots of damage all around. Keep HoTs up on everyone during this fight, and if you have glpyh of swiftmend, you’ll be saving yourself a lot of re-applications.  Once you take him down, on normal you might get a nice helm upgrade(Fallen Sentry’s Hood, ilvl219). After the last ghost waves, you’ll come to fight Falric’s Deathknight like brother, Marywn.

If Falric was horrible for you, you probably won’t like Marwyn either. Don’t bother dispelling his effects, because one of them will split the damage to everyone. For the healers, it’s like Falric. Roll the HoTs on everyone, and toss a lifebloom or two on those who have a well of corruption, or, if you prefer, dark purple hard to see circle that does damage. They need to run out of that, by the way, because otherwise they will die horribly. Marwyn has Frayed Abomination Stitching Shoulders on normal and Ephemeral Snowflake, a yummy trinket for those having problem in mana regen or looking to shuffle gems. He’ll also drop Sightless Crown of Ulmaas and Suspiciously Soft Gloves.

Tanks, if you can hold aggro on all of these, it’s a tank n’ spank. If you’re low on health, pop your emergency buttons one at a time and don’t yell at your healers “OMG WHERE ARE TEH HEALS!?” We’re healing you just as fast as we can, and yelling at us does not increase our haste. Falric will give you a nice cloak:Eerie Runeblade Polisher(which Marwyn drops also) on normal and Spaulders of Black Betrayal on heroic. Marwyn will give you Carpal Tunnelers on normal(along with cloak) and Choking Hauberk on heroic.

Then… when these 2 people are vanquished, you will walk up the hallways to the Lich King only to see (Insert Faction Appropriate person here) almost dead against the might of the Lich King. She’ll freeze him, giving your group a head start as you flee from his wrath. He’ll put up 4 ice barriers that your faction person will break down. This will only happen once you’ve killed the waves of ghouls the Lich King will send to slow you down. You’ve got to hurry to hurry in this process, because he’s slowly walking towards you, and if he catches up you are dead. D-E-A-D, even shadowmelded. (As I found out from a PuG). And since this final boss drops so many pieces both restoration and feral druids can use, I’m linking it to you and muttering something about haste and celestial focus.

Birthday, Yay.

And I’m downloading Patch 3.3! Or, it will be downloaded before the weekend. Even if I won’t get to play until the weekend, blech. -jumps up and down excitedly- The cake was indeed yummylicious, and wonderific, etc etc. And I am alive, btw. And… hey! I just gained exp in my lifetime exp bar. OF course, the end reward is death, but hey.

Computer troubles already!

Actually, I’m just switching to a new computer. That’s going to take a day or two more, but in the mean time, Alienea shares this tidbit of wisdom with you:

Healers, unless the tank will die if you don’t get a heal on them, move out of the bad stuff. Druids? You should have HoTs on your tank and swiftmend, so you don’t have this excuse. If they die, dump aggro and rebirth them.
–Put HoTs on tank, keep them on at all times. Now, assuming you’ve done this, the following checklist.
1. Is the tank going to die if you don’t cast a heal? Yes? then move to step 2 and it had better have been spike damage doing that. If not, move to step 5
2. Swiftmend and do step 5. Is swiftmend down? Move to step 3.
3. Are you doing to die if you stay in it long enough to cast Regrowth/Nourish? Then go to step 5, if not go to step 4
4. Cast Regrowth/Nourish and then get out of it and heal your tank up. WG them to help the melee that refused to move out of it. If they still don’t, let them eat floor and don’t strain yourself to help the melee, especially if they have been told to get out of it, and they should know not to stay in stuff on the floor unless told to do so. Ranged shouldn’t encounter as much and should move also, but it they don’t, rejuv them and then let them eat floor if they stay in it, same as melee. All need to learn.

TANKS! The healers would rather not have to heal you through that when there is ALWAYS! ALWAYS! A melee or ranged dps who refuses to move. We need to help them, without worrying you’ll be telling us whether the floor really tastes of chocolatey goodness, as we try not to find out. So please, please… move out of it.

DPS! Move out of it. The momentary loss of your dps is better than dying, and hurting the group, not to mention your gear, because you refused to move out of the BAD STUFF.

Now, tanks. Of course we always move out of the bad stuff. But when you have time on your hands, try to help the healers out by popping your cooldowns when big spike damage comes. I do this by using survival instincts if I get low, because then my healer is not going “AHHHHHHHHH HEALTH IS SO LOW MUST RISK OWN LIFE FOR THE TANK!” Of course, some of them shadowmeld and let us wipe. That is recommended when it’s been called a wipe and your gear is about to break, but not before then. And of course, be willing to pop innv on the healer if it won’t kill you. If it will kill you, then it’s just not helping, but you can ask them to come closer and you’ll trade them a mana pot or something similar.

Thank you,

P.S. I made this post on my iPod for those wondering. Very annoying -.-
